To provide that with respect to horizontal wells drilled to the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, within or to serve the HA RA SUQQ and HA RA SUKK, where the horizontal portion of the well is cased and cemented back above the top of the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, the distance to any unit boundary and any offset well(s) should be calculated based on the distance to the nearest perforation in the well and not based on the penetration point or terminus. 4. To permit the unit operator of the HA RA SUQQ and HA RA SUKK to produce the unit allowable for each of said units from the respective unit wells, any alternate unit wells, or from any combination thereof for such units, at its discretion. 5. To find that production from the proposed cross unit horizontal well should be allocated to each of the units in the same proportion as the perforated length of the lateral in each such unit bears to the total length of the perforated lateral as determined by an "as drilled" survey performed after such proposed cross unit horizontal well is drilled and completed, and that unit production should continue to be shared on a surface acreage basis. 6. To provide that, except to the extent contrary with the requests set forth herein, the pertinent provisions of Order No. 955-J, effective October 28, 2008, all as amended and supplemented by the 955-J Series of Orders, the units created thereby, and all applicable Statewide Orders shall continue in full force and effect. 7. PUBLIC NOTICE - - - - 3 - HICO-KNOWLES AND TERRYVILLE FIELDS 19-279 and 19-280 LEGAL NOTICE STATE OF LOUISIANA OFFICE OF CONSERVATION BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held in the Hearing Room, 1st Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on TUESDAY, JULY 16, 2019, upon the application of RANGE LOUISIANA OPERATING, LLC. At such hearing the Commissioner of Conservation will consider evidence relative to the issuance of Orders pertaining to the following matters relating to the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, in the Hico-Knowles and Terryville Fields, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana. 1. To authorize Range to drill, designate and utilize one horizontal cross unit lateral as an alternate unit well for LCV RA SUG in the Hico-Knowles Field and LCV RA SUPP in the Terryville Field, at the location and in the general manner shown on the plat submitted with the application, or within a 100' radius of the location shown, provided that there are no perforations in the wellbore closer than 330' to any unit line other than the common unit boundary of LCV RA SUG and LCV RA SUPP. 2. To confirm that with respect to the proposed horizontal lateral, where the horizontal portion of the well is cased and cemented back above the top of the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, the distance to any unit boundary and any offset well(s) should be calculated based on the distance to the nearest perforation in the wells, and not based on the penetration point or terminus. 3. To establish that the proposed well is necessary to efficiently and economically drain a portion of the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, underlying LCV RA SUG and LCV RA SUPP, respectively. 4. To find that unit production from the cross unit lateral should be allocated to each unit in the well serves in the same proportion as the perforated length of the lateral in each unit bears to the total length of the perforated laterals as determined by an "as drilled" survey performed after the cross unit well is drilled and completed. 5. Otherwise, to authorize the unit allowables for these units to be recovered from the unit wells, any alternate unit well, or from any combination of such wells, at the discretion of the operator. 6. To the extent necessary to approve the location of the proposed well as an exception to the field spacing rules for the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A. 7. Except to the extent inconsistent herewith, to confirm and continue in effect the provisions of Office of Conservation Order No. 137-AA, effective August 29, 1979, as amended and supplemented by the 137-AA Series of Orders, Order No. 370-B-6, effective February 18, 1982, as amended and supplemented by the 370-B Series of Orders and all applicable Statewide Orders. 8. To consider such other matters as may be pertinent. The Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, in the Hico-Knowles Field, was defined in Order No. 137-AA, effective September 1, 1979, and was redefined as to LCV RA SUG in Order No. 137-AA-1, effective July 24, 2007. The Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, in the Terryville Field, was defined in Order No. 370-B-6, effective February 18, 1982 and was redefined as to LCV RA SUPP in Order No. 370-B-148, effective April 22, 2008. To authorize applicant to drill, designate and utilize three cross unit horizontal wells to serve as alternate unit wells for HA RB SUZZ (Bethany-Longstreet Field) and HA RA SUJJ (Grand Cane Field), at the locations and in the general manner shown on the plat submitted with the application, and to approve an exception to the spacing provisions of Office of Conservation Order No. 289-R-1, effective April 29, 2008 (Bethany-Longstreet Field) and Order No. 342-K, effective March 3, 2009 (Grand Cane Field), as to the common boundary of the units which will be served by the cross unit horizontal wells. 2. To authorize applicant to drill, designate and utilize one cross unit horizontal well to serve as an alternate unit well for HA RB SUT and HA RB SU54, at the location and in the general manner shown on the plat submitted with the application, and to approve an exception to the spacing provisions of Order No. 289-R-1, effective April 29, 2008, as to the common boundary of the units which will be served by the cross unit horizontal well. 3. To find that the proposed cross unit horizontal alternate unit wells are necessary to efficiently and economically drain portions of the Haynesville Zone underlying the units on which they are proposed to be drilled which cannot be efficiently and economically drained by any existing well on such units, will prevent waste, avoid the drilling of unnecessary wells, protect correlative rights and promote the full and efficient development of the natural resources of this state. 4. To provide that if the horizontal portion of a well is cased and cemented back above the top of the Haynesville Zone the distance to any unit boundary and offset well(s) will be calculated based on the distance to the nearest perforation in the well and not on the penetration point or terminus of the well in the Haynesville Zone. 5. To provide that the unit allowables for HA RB SUZZ, HA RA SUJ, HA RB SUT and HA RB SU54 may be produced from the unit well, from any alternate unit well, or from any combination of such wells serving the unit, at the discretion of the operator. 6. To provide that production from each cross unit horizontal well shall be allocated to each unit penetrated by the well in the same proportion as the perforated length of the lateral in each such unit bears to the total length of the perforated lateral as determined by an "as drilled" survey performed after the well has been drilled and completed. 7.
