We will be offering the estate of W.E. and Katherine Funderburk (deceased) at auction to the highest bidder. Mr. Funderburk was a loom fixer in Cannon Mills who later became an overseer in No. 7 Weave room. Mrs. Funderburk was a well known weaver in the weave room. The Funderburk's were members of Lane St. Baptist Church in Kannapolis. Mr. Funderburk was obviously a man who could work on anything because this estate has more tools in it than any estate of this size that I've seen.
