Minor children. TO RESPONDENT: Tracy Silcox, mother. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Petition has been filed by the Rowan County Department of Social Services (petitioner) for the purpose of terminating your parental rights with respect to Roger Allen Silcox Jr, born on or about July 25, 2000 to Tracy Silcox in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, and with respect to Allyssa Anne Silcox, born on or about March 28, 1998 to Tracy Silcox in Ontario County, New York so that they can be placed for adoption. You are notified to appear and answer the petition by serving the original of your written answer upon the Clerk of Superior Court, Juvenile Court Division, Rowan County Courthouse, 210 N. Main Street, Salisbury, NC 28144, within forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice. You also must serve a copy of the answer on the petitioner's attorney (address below). You will be notified of the time, date and place to appear for a hearing upon the filing of your answer. The purpose of the hearing is to seek termination of your parental rights as they pertain to Roger Allen Silcox and Allyssa Anne Silcox. You are entitled to appear at the hearing. If you cannot afford an attorney, you are entitled to an appointed attorney to assist you provided you request one before the time set for the hearing. If you fail to request counsel, you may waive your right to appointed counsel. You may request an attorney by contacting the Clerk of Superior Court, Juvenile Court Division, 210 N. Main St, Salisbury, NC 28144 (704) 797-3054. This is a new case and any attorney appointed previously to represent you will not represent you in this termination of parental rights proceeding unless otherwise ordered by the Court. If you fail to file an answer within the time specified, Petitioner will apply to the Court for termination of your parental rights. The Project describes the special education programs that Rowan-Salisbury Schools proposes for Federal funding for the 2013-2014 School Year. Interested persons are encouraged to review amendments to the Project and make comments concerning the implementation of special education under this Federal Program.
